Advantage goes to Canada!
ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA –May
23rd, 2007 –
The
anticipation is over and one of the world’s fastest-rising red
bulls is now available in Canada. That’s right, Luck-E
Advantage-Red, semen is now in the hands of Excalibur Sires’
Canadian Breeding Advisors and is ready for distribution.
With a name
that says it all, Advantage truly gives producers the edge when
it comes to show type and huge components. Currently scored
Ex-90, he puts the two traits together in an impressive red and
white package. Advantage has a PTAT of +2.41, along with a PTAF
of +21.
Advantage’s
dam, Luck-E Rubens Kaylie, VG-87, is quickly emerging as
a phenomenal brood cow with daughters like Luck-E Advent Kalotta
and
Luck-E Advent Kite-Red. Both daughters are classified VG-88 and
have already picked up several accolades in the show ring. These
include Reserve Intermediate Champion at the 2006 Mid-East
Spring National and Top 10 Jr.
2-year-old at the International Red & White Show. Both young
cows are on track to produce well over 25,000 lbs. milk, 1250
lbs. fat and about 1,000 lbs. protein in their first lactation
With a
4-year-old record of 365d 43,523m 5.7% 2455f 3.5% 1515p,
Advantage’s dam Kaylie is already a state and national
production leader. Advantage’s granddam complements this stellar
production with a first-class show record. Luck-E Royal Klassy,
3E 94 GMD, was nominated several times All-American and junior
All-American, and was named Supreme Champion of the 1999
Illinois State Fair. Advantage’s next 6 dams all score Very Good
or Excellent.
Advantage’s
outstanding maternal line by no means overshadows his
equally-potent paternal side. His sire, KHW Advent-Red is easily
identifiable as one of the best of the best seasoned red bulls
in the world.
Advantage was
bred by Dennis, Beth, Matt and Joe Engel of Luck-E Holsteins in
