Laudan tops second crop sires!

ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA – February 23rd, 2007 –

While the new sires had some impressive stats on the February proof rounds, Excalibur Sires’ well-established bulls continued to get better and better.
For starters,
LAUDAN roars to the top of bulls with second crop daughters. Now with over 2700 daughters Laudan increases his milk proof by almost 300 pounds to +1213 milk. He also boasts an incredible +4.5 Productive life and +1739 TPI.

Reports on high scoring and high producing second crop STORMAN NORMAN daughters continue to flood in. In the words of one dairyman milking 20 Norman daughters, “I don’t care what any piece of computer jockey generated piece of paper says, my Norman daughters are the best young cows I have ever calved in!” Don’t expect the count of 8 Excellent daughters to stay there for very long.

 Autumn-Ridge Bojangles EX-90 is quickly becoming Excalibur Sire’s brightest new star with his incredible components +.15% + 89 FAT and awesome +1870 TPI. With a +2.6 Productive Life, +1.55 PTAT, and +553 Net Merit $, it’s obvious that Bojangles will put milk in your tank and money in
your bank!

Another new bull, Creek DH Dugle EX-90, excels in the type department.
A product of the remarkable Dellia family, Dugle is +1.71 UDC and +1.77 FLC with an overall PTAT of +2.42. As an added bonus, he’s also +0.10 Protein %. His daughters feature tremendous deep open ribs and high wide rear udders.

Regancrest-Be Display EX-91, also part of the Delia dynasty, sires power, strength and substance of bone. He’s a great feet and legs bull at +1.59 FLC and has a PTAT of +1.72.  With an aAa of 456, Display’s daughters are sure to be strong powerful cows that last many lactations.

Completing the hat trick for the Delia family is CROAKY-POND DATELINE.
A son of Regancrest Lieutenant DD EX-92, Dateline is a combination of high milk +915 along with great components +.07% fat.

Some familiar names in the Excalibur line up did extremely well too:
Sher-Est Mtoto Supreme EX-90 is now a 5% calving ease sire! Minister, another Mtoto son, also comes in at 5% calving ease and is now +4.1 Productive Life, JANOSCH is +2184 milk, and Jardin is now +1865 TPI!

Excalibur Sires’ new young sires are also making a splash. Regancrestdl S Ryker has an incredible PTPI of +1868. Destined to be a production bull, Ryker has a PTAM of +1218 with a PTAF of +50 and PTAP of +43. Ryker is sired by Picston Shottle and his dam, Regan-Joy Durham Regenia-ET EX-92 GMD DOM, is a full sister to Mr Sam.

Krull Mr Sam Edison, a son of Krull Elegant Rose EX-93 and grandson of Elegance EX-96, has a PTPI of +1651. He’s also +48 PTAF and +33 PTAP.

Another promising young bull, Regancrest S Colton, is +1755 PTPI.
A good all-around bull, with an aAa of 216 Colton is +1331 PTAM and +2.04 PTAT. Colton’s dam, Regancrest Cinderella VG-88, is a tall, stylish young cow nominated 2006 All-American Sr. 2 Year-Old.
