Adolph daughter still a ringleader!
ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA –
May 3rd, 2007 –
An Adolph
daughter and one of last year’s leading young ladies maintained
her reputation as a true ringleader during the kickoff to the
2007 show season.
Joleanna Adolph Georgia Rain topped the winter yearling
heifer class and also took home Junior Champion honors at the
New York Spring Junior Holstein Show held Syracuse, N.Y..
Georgia Rain,
owned by Katy Johnson of Unadilla, N.Y., gained national
attention last year as a Junior All-American nominee and as the
2006 Jr.
All-New York winter calf. She is sired by Excalibur Sires’ very
own TRI-DAY ADOLPH, EX-94.
Even as Georgia
Rain continues her two-year winning streak, more phenomenal
Adolph daughters are popping up in spring shows across
the country. These daughters share the style, strength and size
that has become so characteristic of Adolph’s offspring.
A full brother
to
Tri-Day Ashlyn, Ex-96, and
Tri-Day Adeen, Ex-93, Adolph is a member one of the
breed’s most elite showing families.
Himself an Ex-94 Encore son, Adolph has been designated a
Purple Rosette Sire by Excalibur Sires.
In addition
to the show-ring pizzazz he passes to his offspring,
Adolph’s daughters also have sound functional traits including
great feet and legs and strong udder attachments. Some of his
best-known examples of
this winning combination include
Ziems
TDA Sonja, EX-94,
and Milbro Adolph,
EX-92.
