David Winkels, Owner of Excalibur Sires, presenting Governor Tim Pawlenty with
an Excalibur Sires Eat, Sleep, Breed T-shirt.
On Wednesday, January 30, 2008, David Winkels, owner of
Excalibur Sires, met with Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty and
Minnesota International Trade Representative, Tim Odegard, at
the State Capitol in St. Paul, MN. Discussions were held on how
the Governor’s administration could help boost Excalibur Sires’
international sales.
Also a point of discussion was the numerous amount of
international distributors that Excalibur Sires has around the
globe and how they might be able to open doors for other
agricultural based businesses in Minnesota. The current lower
value of the U.S. dollar makes the price of American products
more affordable for most countries, in particularly Europe and
Canada.
Winkels offered to help with arrangements for upcoming trade
missions that Governor Pawlenty, Tim Odegard, members of the
Governor’s administration, and other Minnesota-based business
leaders will be making in 2008.
