Excalibur Sires weclomes Paula Bauer!
ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA –
May 15th, 2007 –
Excalibur Sires is thrilled to announce that Paula Bauer has
joined
the Excalibur Sires team as Domestic Sales Coordinator. In her
new position, Paula will be working directly with our domestic
Breeding Advisors to help provide dairy producers the best
information when selecting superior genetics. Paula will also
help develop new sales territories.
Paula grew up on her parent’s 350 cow dairy farm where she
did everything from milking to combining. During high school
Bauer was a very active member of both 4-H and FFA. Paula did an
extensive amount of showing dairy cattle during this time. She
was honored to be chosen as a
delegate to the National 4-H Dairy Science Conference held at
the World Dairy Expo. She was a member of the MN state 4-H
judging team competing at the All American Dairy Show at
Harrisburg, PA where her team received 1st place in the Holstein
division. Bauer also was a winner of the State FFA
Agri-Science Fair with her project on diagnosing and treating
mastitis.
Paula attended University of Minnesota, St. Paul to study Ag
Education and Ag Science where she continued to be active in
dairy cattle judging for the intercollegiate team. She is most
proud of her placing at the North American Livestock
Invitational in Louisville, KY where she placed 3rd overall for
reasons with perfect scores in 4 out of the 6 breeds judged.
After college, Bauer worked for ABS Global, Inc. as an
independent sales rep and GMS Evaluator in Southern Minnesota.
She also held a position as Progeny Test Coordinator. She found
it gratifying to work with dairymen helping them to reach their
production and profitability goals.
Since that time, Bauer has had a chance to sharpen her
management and business skills having most recently been the
Vice President of the largest real estate title company in
Southeast Minnesota. Though she had been working in real estate
for a decade, Bauer never lost touch of the farm. She and her
husband Tony own a small farm near Hayfield, MN where they raise
Holstein heifers. Their children, Jax (9), Bethany (6), Ella
(5), & Brooke(3) all show dairy cattle. This truly is a family
activity for the Bauer’s. Both mom and dad are thrilled to be
able to share their love for dairy cattle and the show ring.
Paula is excited to be coming back to the A-I industry to put
to use her knowledge of dairy farming and her true passion for
dairy cattle.
Paula is a ball of fire that travels at the speed of sound!!!!!
We fully expect her to help Team Excalibur to continue its
unparalleled pattern of growth and expansion within the A-I
industry.
