LAUDAN - GERMANY 2005
Laudan daughters were another of the highlights of our trip to Germany. I feel fortunate to have been able to see such nice group of solid functional cows. Going into this trip I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I came to find exceptional animals compared to herd mates as well as to cows in the USA. It proves that we can REALLY trust the proofs available on the German bulls. The Laudan daughters are dairy cows with a solid frame and good depth of body. Wide rear udders with a strong center support are keys to the extreme productive life in Laudan’s recent proof. He also sires an extremely clean flat boned hock and tremendous foot angle. The type is evident in his daughters…he may not produce the top show cattle, but he will produce strong willed cattle willing to milk to fill your bulk tanks. We were also able to see a number of second crop calves, which carried the same pattern as his original daughters. With a 162 aAa and the tremendous production proof, it is no wonder Laudan is as high demand as he is throughout the world.Joe Alves - California
