Bingham
Manager & Mascol Daughters
"The Mascols and Manger are sound, deep ribbed, open,
wide, milk cows. The daughter follow the same type pattern as
their fathers, with the Mangers being taller more angular cows
then the Mascols. Both groups of daughters were good milk cows
with above average components. When compared to the other cows
in the barn that we could see, they were defiantly some of the
very best cows in the herd. What stood out with both groups of
daughters, that when viewing from the rear was, their tremendous
width. they had plenty of room for a high wide rear udder, wide
pins for calving ease, They had a tremendous spring of rib and
deep boded. The best Macols are going to come from those weak
narrow cows, as you would want to stay away from round boned
cows with Mascol. Mascol will not improve stature if that is
what you are looking for neither .The Mangers can be bred to a
rounder cow, but for best results you would stay away from
rounder cows in you're herd. Both of these bulls have place in
breeding programs in America, when used on narrow weak cows, the
owners of these daughters will ne very happy. Both bulls will
put a nice foot and leg on, with a good wide rear udder, that is
high, with a nice crease, showing a great suspionary ligament.
These should be long living cows."
David Fiske
Laudan Daughters
"Laudan
daughters posses a nice topline and a good depth of body that
would be desired in any commercial herd. Other attributes
include a wide and well-attached udder with a strong center
ligament, flat boned and good foot angle. Above all these
cattle are lean, clean and have a strong desire to milk."
Tom Barnes
Jefferson Daughters
"First
impression of the daughters was that they can milk. Daughters
were long and dairy flat bone with good spring of rib.The legs
had proper set with again flat bone. Some weak in the pasterns
but appears to be a herd issue maybe not the bull.
The udders nice
veining with exceptional ligaments! Teat placement of rear
tests was perfect. Fore teat placement was a little wide. Rear
udders were above average fore height and width. Fore udders
wider than rear but strong attachment. I feel Jefferson should
be used on heavier boned cows that require more style and
production with Jefferson you will get it."

Jardin
Daughters
"I had a vested interest in Jardin, (pronounced Jardeen, which
means garden in French) because I had sold 10 unit prior to our
trip to Germany. Excalibur Sires is the United States and
Canada representative for G.G.I. (German Genetics International)
and we will get you any G.G.I. bull you want. If you see an
advertisement for a G.G.I. bull in Holstein International as my
costumer did, we will get you that bull. On arriving in Germany
I was informed that Jardin was one of the three most popular
sons of Jocko Besne in the World. Jardin is going to be known
for type and high components. Jardin daughters are very uniform
and slightly above average for stature, their udders are
extremely well attached with a deep cleft. Their teat length is
average and the front test means he will sire Tall (up), Strong,
and Open daughters that will have big hearts that can circulate
the blood necessary for good udder health. These cows will work
well in different types of barns and will be long lasting."
Emil II
Daughters
"The Emil II daughters are Stylish and Dairy!!!! And Emil II is
a value at $26 not just for the commercial dairyman, but for all
Holstein breeders. Emil II aAa is 6125, and he is definitely a
transmitter for type, the legs and straight and have good foot
angle with a deep heel. They display a strong udder cleft and
good teat placement front and rear with the front being close.
With the 2 & 5 being the third and fourth numbers in the aAa
Emil II daughters will have strong fore and rear udder for
volume and which will remain above the hock later in life. The
group of Emil II daughters was uniform and complete."
